With the AfPP Conference still fresh in the memory, and still feeling the jet lag from attending Medica 05 in Germany, PROACT were on the road again, this time at the Care Show in Harrogate.

A lot of PROACT's product range applies to homecare users, and this exhibition was the perfect opportunity to showcase our products. The Onyx 9550 stole most of the show. Several units were on display for visitors to try out and they certainly proved popular.

Nonin have taken the World’s best selling Finger pulse oximeter and have made it even better! The OnyxII retains it’s legendary durability, reliability and accuracy, and now offers 50% faster response times. The OnyxII also retains Nonin’s patented automatic On/Off when the finger is inserted. Nonin’s PureSAT™ Technology is built into the OnyxII which offers impeccable low perfusion accuracy and superb motion tolerance. The OnyxII is now more powerful than ever before - 5000 (15s) spot checks and a battery shelf life of 35,000 hours! Also on show were PROACT Oxygen Concentration and Conserver products. On show for the first time was the SimAir O2 Plus Oxygen Concentrator - A small, lightweight and yet durable design. It is highly efficient giving you 10,000 hours working hours guarantee and offers a maximum 5 LPM flow rate. It also has a second cooling fan which increases safety and increases the unit’s life span.
